Jesus Is Our Ride Or Die

I am Marben Bland, Pastor Of The Greater Bethel AME Church In Athens Georgia with a living the Word moment. 

The term "ride or die" originally comes from biker culture, where it described someone who would ride with you no matter what, even if it meant facing danger or death. It has come to mean someone who is fiercely loyal, standing by your side through thick and thin.

When Jesus rode triumphantly into Jerusalem, He was declaring to the world that God’s Son was our ultimate "ride or die." In that moment, Jesus demonstrated His unwavering commitment to us. Despite the crowd's praises of "Hosanna!" quickly shifting to shouts of "Crucify Him!" just a few days later, Jesus did not waver. He stayed with us. He had our back.

At the critical moment when He could have chosen to save Himself, Jesus remained faithful. He didn’t abandon us. He stood firm and stayed true to His mission, proving that He is indeed our "ride or die."
